Toni and Ann bought their first self catering holiday on Seadell Chalet Park in 1975.
After a couple of years we bought a second one and then a couple more and as we continued to increase the portfolio our family business was born.
From the first we put emphasis on high standards and providing value for money. We were the first on Seadell to install fitted carpets and the first to install colour televisions. How old fashioned that sounds now.
Over the years we have continued with our policy of continuous improvement and modernisation in order to provide the best offering we can for all our lovely customers, many of whom have become friends.
In 1985 we took over Seadell Shops while being completely inexperienced in retail but we worked hard and learnt quickly in order to provide a facility of which we are now so proud, again continuously making improvements as needed.
Eldest son Stuart joined the business in 1995 on his return from Australia. Stuart continues the family business ideals and personal customer service on which we have always placed such importance.
We are confident that when Toni finally decides to retire both businesses will be in safe hands.
